The focus is on the planned network overhaul between Wittingen, Brome and Wolfsburg, which will come into force on August 14, 2025 after the summer holidays. Timetable changes and new offers
Similar to northern Germany, a timetable change will also be carried out in other regions, such as the Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund, on December 15, 2024, which will entail numerous changes. The changes affect bus lines 21, 29, 52, 71 and 107, some of which will have new stops or their frequency will be adjusted. For example, line 29 will be discontinued at the end of the year, while line 52 will be converted to a late-night scheduled taxi service - a measure that primarily benefits flexibility.
However, the existing offer is not only reflected in the adaptation of the routes, but also in the revision of the stop names. Name changes, such as those from “Kaltenbronn” to “Kaltenbronn Infozentrum”, attract a lot of interest as they often provide improved orientation for passengers.
