But that wasn't enough: TSV came back into the game when Henning Lorenzen scored the goal to make it 1:3 in the 57th minute. After another goal from Samir Heißenberg in the 86th minute, which corrected the score to 2:3, there was a dramatic finale in stoppage time.

Max Flemming scored the deserved equalizer to make it 3-3 in the 88th minute and sent the home fans into ecstasy. But the happiness didn't last long. Immediately afterwards, Jonas Hillmer took control of the game and put the ball into the net to make it 4-3 for Kiel in the 89th minute. A true crime thriller that sent viewers on an emotional roller coaster ride.

Criticism and praise for the gameplay

After the final whistle there were mixed emotions on the benches of both teams. Erik von Lanken, the coach of TSV Rantrum, was critical of the individual mistakes of his defense and could not blame his team for their fighting spirit. In contrast, SSG coach Ove Saß praised the impressive performance of his team, which held its nerve despite personnel shortages and secured victory.

The table constellation remains exciting: Even after this defeat, Rantrum is in 6th place with 6 wins, 4 draws and 5 defeats. Kiel, on the other hand, consolidated its promotion ambitions with this tenth win of the season and now has a record of 10 wins, 1 draw and 4 defeats.
