Kiel Week 2025: Now travel with new mobility offers!

The anticipation for the Kiel Week is growing! From June 21 to 29, 2025, Kiel will again become a meeting point for millions of visitors. So that the festival becomes an unforgettable experience for everyone involved, the city has developed a well thought -out mobility concept that should make the journey, stay and departure as pleasant as possible. Especially on weekends, the railway companies increase the frequency of their trains. With a minimum offer of two trains per hour and the connections between Kiel and Neumünster, even three times from the afternoon, the offer offers a stress -free arrival. Particularly noteworthy are the late night connections on different routes, which ensure that the guests can come back home until night.

In order to be able to cope with the crowd of visitors of the Kiel Week, the Kiel Verkehrsbetriebe (KVG) also implement various measures. The “Kieler Woche ticket”, which is valid for ten days, is particularly highlighting. However, visitors should note that the ticket cannot be used from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. So that everyone can move to the Kiel Week without stress, additional KVG buses are also used, especially in the evening and on weekends. This is well supplemented by the new Kielline Express, which runs between the main train station and the Reventloubrücke.

A special help are the volunteer rickshaw pilot pilots, which enable older people, especially older people. However, drivers should be careful: During the Kiel Week, many streets are closed. In particular on the Kiel Hörn, drivers have to adapt to restrictions. Therefore, it is advisable to park outside of Kiel and use public transport.

To make it easier for the Kiel Week, there are special parking spaces for campers and motorhomes on the Koesterallee and Northern Moles of the Scheerhafen. Online information on the loading of the parking spaces is also available, so that visitors can better plan their journey.

The Kiel Week poorly requires a well thought-out planning, but with the numerous mobility offers that Nah.sh and the KVG is not standing in the way of a carefree time. Whether by train, the bus or the bike - the main thing is that you are there when it says: Kiel, linen!
