Welt reports on the determination of Wolff, who won the title with his team at the last European Championship in 2016.

Wolff, now 34 years old, knows the importance of his national jersey. He not only brings experience from numerous international games, but also a strong presence in goal. “For me, wearing the national jersey is something very special,” says the THW Kiel goalkeeper. He sees himself as responsible for both leading the talents in the team and constantly maintaining his own performance. Fighting and with an eye for team tactics, he is optimistic about mastering the challenges in the main round, where strong teams like Denmark, France, Norway and Portugal could await them.

There he had his first international game in 2013, which was a decisive step in his career Eurohandball.

His previous successes speak for themselves: Wolff was nominated for the EHF EURO in 2016 and played a key role in the win against Spain in the final.
