Bremen food hype: New burger and tapas restaurants are coming!

A lot is happening in the city of Bremen: Two new gastronomy concepts are taking big steps and are intended to provide culinary variety. On the one hand, “Burger Vision” awaits us, a well-known German burger chain that now wants to open its fifth restaurant in northern Germany. On the other hand, “Pincho Nation”, a Swedish tapas chain, brings its colorful mix of international specialties to Bremen.

“Burger Vision” opens at Schüsselkorb 26/27 and joins the chain’s existing list of 20 locations, which is already represented in cities such as Berlin and Hamburg. Bremen burger fans can look forward to the famous smash burgers, in which the meat patty is flattened in the pan to create a crispy crust. Homemade sauces and regionally sourced, halal-certified meat are at the top of the list of ingredients. Delivery is also conveniently offered via Lieferando, which is particularly practical for those hungry in the office or at home. The exact opening date has not yet been announced, but anticipation is growing.

A Swedish festival of tapas

“Pincho Nation” will open its doors right next door, making it the second restaurant of this chain in Germany after Kiel. Whether at Martinistrasse 58, guests can look forward to a unique culinary experience here in winter 2023. With 160 seats, 20 outdoor seats and an inviting bar, it will offer a perfect location for parties and social gatherings. The menu features eclectic tapas from meatballs to shrimp to baked feta and truffle pasta. These dishes represent the curiosity and diversity of guests, and each dish invites mixing and sharing. Plus, the menu is constantly updated to always feature new, bold flavors.

The concept of “Pincho Nation” reflects the current trend in German gastronomy, which will change rapidly in 2025. More and more people are attaching importance to conscious food with traceable origins. Regional products are very important - in addition to classic dishes, the focus is also on great vegetables such as pumpkin and parsnips. This development is also reflected in the menus of the new restaurants, which source ingredients from the region and think about creative dishes. Guests increasingly expect innovative products and a clear menu structure with a focus on quality.

The future of gastronomy

The rise of “Burger Vision” and “Pincho Nation” in Bremen is not a coincidence, but part of a larger trend in gastronomy. The demand for plant-based, gluten-free and lactose-free alternatives is growing, and restaurants must adapt to the individual needs of their guests. A clear focus on freshness and a transparent origin of the food are the focus. There is an exciting connection between regional and global influences - crossover cuisine is definitely on the rise.

This makes it all the more exciting to visit the two new gastronomic hotspots in Bremen. The openings promise not only delicious food, but also an inspiring atmosphere that invites you to linger. Let's stay excited to see when it finally happens!
