It starts early on Friday, November 21st. At 5 p.m. the premiere of a documentary film about the museum harbor will be celebrated in the German Maritime Museum (DSM). Admission is free, but registration is required by email by November 21st, 12 p.m. Immediately afterwards, at 6 p.m., the Central Library in the Hanse Carré invites you to “Cosplay Karaoke”. Anyone aged 15 and over can demonstrate their singing talent here, without prior registration and also free of charge. Music lovers shouldn't miss the band “Alternative Katze”, which will be performing at Shiva on Moltkestrasse from 9 p.m. - you can get there for just 5 euros!
Art and culture in Cuxland
Saturday, November 22nd, offers a colorful program. In Bremerhaven, the art and biscuit exhibition starts in “Rudi – The Place for Art” from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and entry is free here too. In the evening, the “MBM Jazz-Rockets” create a great atmosphere in the small stage “Die 10ne”. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. and the concert starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are available online for 16.52 euros.
There is also a lot on offer in Cuxland: On the same day at 3 p.m. in the Schiffdorf community center, Petra Ippich will give an exciting lecture about her adventures in the Antarctic - including impressive photos. There will also be a winter festival on the Rock House grounds in Loxstedt from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., which will feature stands and live music from “The Foggy Crew.”
Theater and exhibitions
The end of the weekend is reserved for Sunday, November 23rd. Henrik Ibsen's play "An Enemy of the People" will be performed in the Small House of the Bremerhaven City Theater at 3 p.m. Tickets are available online. At the same time, Lutz Mauder invites you to an art exhibition in his studio in Lunestedt, where his works can be seen from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
