A real festival of seafaring and maritime heritage is being celebrated in Bremerhaven today! On August 11, 2025, the city will once again be the venue for the Sail and will enchant with a colorful mix of tradition, entertainment and culinary delights. The spectacle begins at 4 p.m. with an impressive sailing parade. The crews of the windjammers parade through Mayor-Smidt-Strasse, past curious onlookers, and celebrate the traditional seafaring together. The procession finally ends with the award ceremony for the best ship crews at Theodor-Heuss-Platz. Around 1 to 1.5 hours are planned for the parade, so visitors can be prepared for a lot of action.
