On the night of November 10, 2025, things will get exciting on BAYERN 2, because the show “The Crutchfields & their friends” is dedicated to Snocaps’ new indie rock album. The band, led by twin sisters Katie and Allison Crutchfield, have made a name for themselves in the music scene and will be presented tonight from 11:03 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. The sisters are not only known for their participation in the band P.S. Eliot, but Katie also caused a stir with her successful solo project Waxahatchee. The two are supported by guitarist MJ Lenderman and producer Brad Cook, who has already released Mavis Staples' new album and worked with the band Whitney for a long time. BAYERN 2 therefore represents an important platform for the neuroses of this indie rock community.
But Snocaps is more than just the name of a new project. The band will soon be going on their very first tour through several cities. This mini tour, just released, includes three stops: Chicago, Los Angeles and New York. In Chicago, the band will play Thalia Hall on December 1st and 2nd with Cloakroom and Graham Hunt as opening acts. The stage at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles is reserved on December 4th and 5th, where Slippers and Mike Krol are ready to heat up the fans. Finally, the tour will culminate on December 7th and 8th at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City with Brennan Wedl and Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band. Pitchfork reports that these upcoming performances represent an exciting opportunity for Snocaps to bring their music live to the stage.

Indie rock has evolved steadily since its beginnings in the 1980s. While mainstream rock was characterized by pompous arrangements and large-scale productions, many artists rebelled against this trend and chose the path of independence - a term that in the context of indie rock is often associated with little commercially marketable music.
