Dance courses move287” in Bremen-Lesum: Register now and join in!
There's something happening in Bremen-Lesum for younger dance enthusiasts! Zami Ola Inoussa has launched dance courses with her project “move287”, which take place every Wednesday at the Lesum cultural initiative, also known as Kulle. The offer is aimed at children and young people and brings a breath of fresh air to the dance format in the region. There are currently still places available for the courses, which can be attended for 25 euros per month.
The youngest participants aged 8 to 11 can look forward to an hour of exercise from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., while the 12 to 15 year olds can dance themselves from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The lessons include modern dance, jazz and contemporary, enriched with elements from ballet. spot-bremen.de reports that a typical class begins with a mood check, followed by warm-up exercises, technical exercises and choreography. The highlight for the kids is often the improvisation, which requires creativity.
The passion of dancing
Zami Ola Inoussa has impressive 20 years of dance experience, which she passes on to her students with great enthusiasm. Her own dance career began in elementary school and she has since taken part in numerous dance theater productions. Zami sees dancing not just as a sport, but as an excellent means of expression. “I see how dancing gives children confidence,” she explains. The desire to offer such courses in Bremen-Nord arose from frustration with the lack of offerings in the region.
In addition to her commitment in Bremen-Lesum, Zami also teaches in a sports club in Ritterhude-Ihlpohl and in a dance school in Schwanewede. Her ambitions don't end there: she plans to open her own dance school and at the same time has specialized in prevention, sports therapy and health management through a distance learning course.
Positive and future
The feedback from participants is consistently positive. The children feel comfortable and show progress that goes beyond dancing. The program not only has great educational value, but also promotes community and friendship among like-minded dance enthusiasts.
Zami Ola Inoussa is fighting against the fact that there is often a lack of offers for children in Bremen-Nord. But her range of courses has opened up a new world of dance for many. So if you want to get a place, you should act quickly because the courses are very popular!
