The flea market season is coming to an end and the last events are approaching in Jarmen. On November 15th, an exciting “Second Hand Day” will take place in the city's cultural center, which will be all about fashion. From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., interested visitors can browse for clothes and hopefully get a good deal. Organizer Tina Lietzau-Grams, who regularly organizes such events in the cultural center, is pleased about the lively participation, which comes not only from the region but also from further afield.
The cultural center has now established itself as a popular event location and offers a warm, dry retreat for market fans. Parking is also available nearby, making the visit even more attractive for many. Interest in the events is constantly growing, and the organizers are pleasantly surprised by the high number of registrations.
Growing interest in “Second Hand Day”
At the upcoming “Second Hand Day”, particular attention will be paid to the selection of goods on offer. Providers are only allowed to bring clothing for teenagers and adults in sizes 32 to 54. Separate appointments are scheduled for baby and children's clothing. Since there is no longer enough space inside, there is already an acceptance stop and a waiting list for future providers. By the end of 2025 you will be able to find 33 dealers in the cultural center, especially in the large hall.
The supporting events, which take place around six to seven times a year, including a “women's fair”, are becoming increasingly popular. The upcoming event in March 2026 will herald the start of a new season - a nice look at the future of the bazaars in Jarmen.
