The people of Neubrandenburg can look forward to a special event: On Saturday, September 20th, the 12th district hiking meeting will take place in the heart of the region. Again Northern Courier reported, the starting and finishing point of this popular event is the foyer of the Neubrandenburg town hall. Here, hiking enthusiasts can look forward to a colorful program and numerous activities.
This year's meeting offers ten different hiking tours that allow visitors to experience the splendor of the landscape around Lake Tollense, the cultural park and the fascinating terminal moraine landscape. These routes impress with a wide spectrum: from relaxed riverside paths for the whole family to more demanding paths for real hiking enthusiasts. So there is something for everyone!
Special highlights and information
The highlights include guided water hikes and the opportunity to travel on the “Uns Fritzing” liner. Jan Tessin, who is known as the “Mecklenburg Cowboy”, will provide musical entertainment and will moderate the event. As well as Strelitzius highlights, the opening will be ceremoniously organized at 9:30 a.m. by the team from the Mecklenburg Lake District Sports Association.
If you want to take part, you shouldn't wait long: registration opens on September 20th at 9 a.m. in the town hall foyer. The hikes start at 10 a.m. A fee of 15 euros per person aged 12 and over is charged for participation. This amount includes participation in all tours as well as a meal and a drink. Late registration is also possible, but only depending on available places.

Late registrations on the day of the event are possible between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. and a fee of 18 euros applies.
