Rieke Tietz has made her dream come true: the young footballer from Germany is now playing for the women's Bundesliga FC Carl Zeiss Jena. Her career began early at Malchower SV, where she took her first steps on the soccer field when she was just four years old. Her family connection to sport, especially through her brother Ole, has shaped and motivated her.
Tietz is currently a valuable player in the Jena team, having scored two goals this season, including an important one in the 1-1 draw against Hamburger SV, which could be crucial for staying in the league. However, their path to the Bundesliga was not straight. After moving to the Neubrandenburg sports high school, she started with the B juniors of 1. Experiences in Austria and the return to Germany
In the summer of 2025, Tietz decided to move to Jena to be closer to her family in Nossentiner Hütte. She previously played professionally for four years in Austria, where she played for the SCR Altach was active. During this time, she trained up to seven times a week, gained important experience and was able to reach third place in the league with her team twice and play in the 2023 cup final.
