The old market will largely be demolished; Only two walls and a piece of the floor slab remain from the old branch. The new building, which is about to be topped out, will have a large window front and an open ceiling construction, which will not only provide light and air, but also significantly improve the atmosphere in the shopping area.
State-of-the-art technology for customers
A highlight of the new construction project is the planned heat pump system, which promotes energy-efficient solutions. A photovoltaic system will also be installed, which will contribute to a sustainable energy supply. With these measures, Netto not only appeals to environmentally conscious customers, but also ensures that the branch remains competitive in the long term.
The sales area will be expanded from 770 to an impressive 1000 square meters. This means that space will be created for a wider range of goods in the future. Netto has also signed a new contract with the Lau bakery, which was already present in the market and will now also supply the new branch with fresh baked goods. In addition to the usual products, customers also have the opportunity to purchase fresh bread and rolls.

In order to bridge the time until the opening, a temporary branch was opened at Feldstrasse 46 in April 2025.
