On Thursday, July 17, 2025, the art lovers in Rostock can expect a very special event. At 6 p.m., the film “Inselleicht - Usedomer Pictures” by Heinz Brinkmann will be performed in the Kunsthalle Rostock. The film produced in 2005 revolves around the fascinating art scene on the island of Usedom and illuminates the influences that mass tourism has on the artistic identity of the region. Director Heinz Brinkmann, who was born in 2019 and was born in the seaside resort of Heringsdorf, lets the voices of numerous artists such as Sabine Curio, Volker Köpp and Matthias Weghaupt speak.
