Attention FCK fans: Free travel to the duel against Eintracht Braunschweig!

Next Saturday, November 29th, 2025, the boys from 1. FC Kaiserslautern (FCK) will host Eintracht Braunschweig in the stadium. The FCK can count on the support of around 2,700 loyal fans who make the long journey to cheer on their team. As usual, the journey is well organized so that the FCK supporters can get to the stadium without any hassle.

The German Football League has launched a free ride-sharing portal for fans this season. Fans can carpool using the Bundesliga app or the website bundesliga-mitfahrportal.de and not only save on travel costs, but also contribute to reducing CO₂ emissions. This once again supports the league's sustainability goals, as fc.de reports. And the best part: it's completely free!

Various arrival options

Anyone arriving by train can take five free shuttle buses at Braunschweig main station from 9:45 a.m. For drivers and buses there is a comfortable journey via the A2 (north) and A39 (south) to the A391. From there, take the Hansestraße exit to Porschestraße, where there are enough parking spaces. A shuttle bus service takes fans from the parking lots directly to the stadium's guest area - the journey only takes about five minutes.

The stadium opens at 11:30 a.m., with the visitors' block being accessible 90 minutes before the start of the game. Unfortunately there is no ticket offer for the guest block at the box office as it is already completely sold out.

Fan activities and rules

For all-rounders and creative minds among fans, there are a few rules to follow. While waving flags, drums and megaphones are permitted, block flags and choreographies unfortunately have to remain outside without prior registration. You should also not bring any food with you, as food and drinks are not allowed. If you have a little luggage with you, you should know that backpacks larger than DIN A4 are not allowed into the stadium, but there is a free luggage drop-off facility on site.

The digital world has also found its way into the stadium: digital cameras are allowed in the guest area, while video recordings are prohibited. For fans who cannot travel, the FCK offers a fan radio with live broadcasts so that no one has to miss the game. Payments in the stadium can be made both cashless and in cash.

There is also barrier-free access for fans with disabilities. There are wheelchair spaces and even thermal blankets so that no one has to freeze. In the event of an emergency, such as discrimination or harassment, there is an emergency telephone number 0531 – 2323 067.

Fan engagement is changing rapidly and modern technologies offer new possibilities, as an international study by IBM shows. Younger fans in particular are optimistic about AI technologies that can enhance the sports experience and provide personalized content. A large number of fans use social media to consume additional content, and for many, real-time updates are the be-all and end-all of sports.[1]

The anticipation for the game against Eintracht Braunschweig is more than noticeable. FCK fans can look forward to an exciting duel. With the best preparations and the right spirit, this game is sure to be an unforgettable experience!
