General meeting 2025: Eintracht Braunschweig invites you!

On November 16, 2025 it's that time again: the general meeting of Eintracht Braunschweig is coming up. From 2 p.m., members have the opportunity to take part in this hybrid event in the Audimax of the TU Braunschweig, Pockelstraße 14. Admission starts at 1 p.m., which offers enough time for a relaxed check-in.

But what awaits those present? The agenda is packed with important points that are of interest to every fan and member. First, the quorum is determined and the deceased members are remembered. This is followed by the approval of the minutes of the last general meeting, various honors and reports from the executive committee as well as the supervisory board and the management of Eintracht Braunschweig GmbH & Co. KGaA. The members can also look forward to receiving the 2024/2025 annual financial statements. One innovation is the new elections to the Presidium and Honorary Council, which are scheduled to take place by the end of 2026.

Hybrid assembly – flexible and modern

A particularly interesting aspect of this meeting is the hybrid format. Members have the opportunity to participate both on site in the Audimax and virtually. This concept has become increasingly important in recent years as it allows for flexible participation, for example for those who may have a long journey or are unable to travel for health reasons. At the end of 2022, the Bundestag decided that clubs can hold such hybrid meetings without the need to change the statutes, which is a relief for many clubs. Eintracht Braunschweig uses this opportunity to enable as many members as possible to participate, as meinverein.de reports.

However, the affiliated members have to adapt to some technical requirements. A functioning voting tool is required for digital participation, and members receive information about the process and the voting portal by email or post. However, it remains to be hoped that no technical problems will arise, as was the case with the annual general meeting on November 17, 2023, which had to be canceled early due to technical difficulties. The catch-up event finally took place on January 21, 2024, also in a hybrid format, as reported by ndr.de.

Important information for members

In order to be able to take part in the meeting, active and passive members, as well as honorary members who were members of the association on August 16, 2025, have the opportunity to vote, provided they have paid their membership fee. A valid membership card is required for access to the in-person meeting. Members also have the opportunity to view minutes and annual financial statements in the office from November 9th to 23rd, 2025.

Overall, the general meeting promises to be an exciting event in which not only important decisions will be made, but the Eintracht Braunschweig community will also be strengthened. Fans and members should definitely mark this date in red on their calendar and take advantage of the opportunity to actively participate in the club's events.
