The detective inspector Hermann Rieker and the daughter of a judge, Johanna Ahrens, are the investigators at the center of this gripping story.

An award for creative work

The author not only shows a good knack for exciting stories, but has also already won the silver “Homer” Prize for historical literature. Before turning to the new work, it is worth starting with “The Heartbeat of the Dead”, which is the first volume in a promising series and was also awarded the “Homer” literary prize. His reading formats are known for captivating listeners with humor and charm.

With its event, the city library not only offers a platform for literary art, but at the same time creates a place where the community can come together to share culture and entertainment. After all, books are not only alive on the pages, but also in the conversations they stimulate.

A place for hospitality

Celle is known for its cozy restaurants, where you can enjoy delicious food and drinks in a convivial atmosphere. These traditional places contribute significantly to the culture of the city. They often offer hearty home-style cooking that embodies a piece of North German cosiness. The term “pub” itself refers to establishments that serve food and drink on-site, and is distinguished from both pubs that primarily serve drinks and restaurants with a greater focus on food quality.

The restaurants in Celle, from simple pubs to inviting restaurants, invite you to relax after the reading with a good meal and one or two side dishes. This shows that cuisine and culture can go wonderfully hand in hand. With the reading by Ralf H. Dorweiler and the numerous opportunities that Celle has to offer, November 20th will certainly be an evening that will be remembered.
