The spectators saw an exciting game last Saturday in the Delmenhorst Stadium when SV Atlas played against TSV Wetschen. With a final score of 3:3, it was a truly dramatic meeting that caused emotions on both sides. However, coach Key Riebau found clear words for his team's performance and particularly criticized his players' lack of attitude and concentration. Riebau reacted and made three substitutions in the 58th minute, but the expected goal threat did not materialize. Justus Treseler finally scored the last goal for Wetschen in the 72nd minute, and the game ended with a fair 3-3 draw, as Kicker also states.
The encounter still left a bitter aftertaste for Riebau: “Wetschen could have won the game if he had better exploited his chances,” he said after the final whistle. In the next few weeks it will be important for his players to find the concentration and grit they need to stay at the top of the table.
