B 75: Construction site is delayed - full closure and new traffic routing!
on the federal road 75 (B 75) between Delmenhorst/Stickgras and the Bremen state border, it takes longer than initially planned. As the Weser Kurier , the construction work has not yet been completed. According to the Lower Saxony State Operations for Road Construction and Transport (NLSTBV), guardrails are currently being installed towards Oldenburg. The remaining work includes banquet and paving work on the bridges as well as important control tests, including level measurements and asphalt examinations in the laboratory.
The weather plays a crucial role: the road marking is planned for June 25th and 26th - provided that the conditions allow it. After the mark, the traffic routing is dismantled from 2+0 to 1+1.
full closure is imminent
For the night from June 30th to July 1st, a full closure of the B 75 is set so that the traffic routing can be dismantled. The NLSTBV explains that this is an additional work and not a delay. The federal road is released in the week from July 7th to 12th, but a precise date will be announced as soon as the work on the median strips begin.
New roundabout in Tostedt
At the same time, the construction work for a roundabout on the B 75, such as the Niederschsische Straßenbauverwaltung reported. These measures aim to improve the flow of traffic and increase security for all road users. Work started on June 4, 2025 and they should take about a year.
The construction takes place in eight phases, whereby the first phase is already in full swing. A particularly tricky detail is the merging of two non -opposite streets in a roundabout. During the work, the B 75 will be fully blocked for about two months, but special access to the German Red Cross (DRK) and the fire brigade are guaranteed.
investments in the transport infrastructure
The importance of a reliable transport infrastructure is not only discussed in Tostedt but also at the national level. The Verkehrsinvestition report 2022 emphasizes how decisively a well-developed network of traffic routes for personal freedom and social participation is. Germany's infrastructure is one of the best worldwide and offers an important basis for economic growth.
The Federal Ministry of Digital and Transport continuously is working on reducing bottlenecks through new and expansion projects and securing the quality of the rail, road and water road networks. This continuous expansion of this infrastructure is a central task to maintain the high standard in the future.
The resident and road users should therefore bring patience in the coming weeks and months, while these necessary construction projects are realized. Because in the end it will be an advantage for everyone if the streets are safer and more accessible.
