Delmenhorster Theater summer 2024: More acting, more fun!

Summer in Delmenhorst becomes the scene of living culture again! The Delmödians, consisting of Johannes Mitternacht, Marcel Krohn and Marie-Theres Schwinn, invite you to the second Delmenhorster theater summer in July 2024. After the overwhelming success of the first festival in 2022, return with a varied program that will take place in the picturesque backdrop in front of the town church. The theater summer begins on July 12th and goes on the green area right next to the town church until July 27, 2024.

The premiere of the piece "Goethe and the Women" takes place on July 12th at 8 p.m. and promises to inspire the audience with fascinating insights into the life of the great poet. The following day, July 13th, "the imaginary sick person" will be performed at 6 p.m. This piece, an amusing adaptation of Molière's classic work in the setting of the 1970s in Delmenhorst, is presented with a colorful ensemble, including Marcel Krohn, Ramona Krohn, Emily Zoe Seidel, Kevin Citozi and Sabine von Rothkirch.

The program offers much more: On July 19th at 8pm there is the premiere of the "Schauer stories", followed by "Mitsammeracht-Mischmas" on July 20 at 3 p.m., a humorous, musical and theatral evening, which will also be repeated on July 27 at 3 p.m. The prices for the performances are affordable, start at 15 euros for the "Schauer stories" and reach up to 20 euros for "the imaginary sick person". Tickets are available in the Jünemann bookstore and at the box office, which opens 30 minutes before the start of the performance.

If you are looking for other cultural highlights, you can also look forward to the Bad Hersfeld Festival 2025, which will take place in Hesse from June 20 to August 18. Renowned pieces such as "Midsummer Night Dreams" and a musical "A Chorus Line" are on the program here. Another exciting event is the Plug & Pay Theater Festival for Young Director in Mainz, which begins at the end of May 2025 and presents new talents.
