Next Saturday, June 28, 2025, music lovers can look forward to a very special event: The Friends of Music in Michaelis e.V. invites you to an impressive concert in the town church of St. Marien in Celle. From 7:30 p.m., works by the great Ludwig van Beethoven will be heard, which reflect both the passion and the complexity of his work.
The spotlight is on Beethoven III. Piano concerto, op. 37, as well as the fantasy for piano, choir and orchestra, op. 80. A special highlight of the evening will be a Kyrie choral arrangement by Gottlob B. Bierey on the first movement of the famous “Moonlight Sonata”. The event promises not only musical highlights, but also an unforgettable experience for everyone present.
A talent showcase
Under the musical direction of conductor Christian Gläsker, both graduates and students from the Hannover University of Music, Theater and Media will take the stage with international guests. The renowned pianist Prof. Gesa Behrens from the Frankfurt University of Music will take on the piano parts. The vocal ensemble Vox Spritus and the choir Canto Concertando will also be part of the program.
