Margarita Classes: Discover the love of books for children in the Gifhorn district!
A lot is happening in the world of children's literature in the Gifhorn district. Margarita Klassen, 30 years old and passionate about reading, has created a creative space for children and their families with her company “Deine Buchliebe”. Born in Osnabrück, she is not only a trained educator, but also the mother of a small son. She knows how important reading is for the development of children's imagination and language skills. “Reading enriches life,” she emphasizes in an interview WAZ.
In 2022, Klassen took the step into self-employment. Her focus is on individual advice for families and daycare centers (daycare centers), where she addresses the children's specific interests and needs. advice that helps many people steer their media consumption towards reading. She is also planning to open a brick-and-mortar children's bookstore in Steinhorst next year. Until then, she will continue her extensive consulting work both on site and online.
Variety of offers
A highlight of their offering is the “Winterbox”, a lovingly compiled collection of literature and games that are tailored to a child’s preferences. Classes analyzes the market and regularly takes part in well-known book fairs such as those in Frankfurt and Leipzig. Here she establishes close contacts with authors and publishers in order to offer her customers the best selection of children's literature.
The importance of reading skills cannot be overstated. The federal government sees these as key skills for educational success and active participation in social life. How BMF reports, every child starts school with different linguistic abilities, which is why targeted projects to promote reading are essential. These include measures such as the “Lesestart 1-2-3” project, which has already distributed millions of book gifts to children.
Commitment to daycare centers
A nice aspect of reading promotion is the Buchkita quality seal, which recognizes daycare centers for their outstanding commitment to early childhood reading promotion. This initiative emerged from a cooperation between the German Library Association and has already helped numerous daycare centers gain more visibility. Information on how to award this label and how to apply can be found on the project's website and the proposal can be sent directly to those responsible, such as Exchange Association explained.
Klassen is convinced that the connection between reading and digital media literacy is becoming increasingly important. That's why she builds bridges between traditional book formats and modern reading methods. Even as digitalization advances, she always has a book on hand to pass on her passion for reading.
With her commitment, Margarita Klassen is well on her way to sustainably promoting a love of literature among children in the Gifhorn district. So we can look forward to an exciting future in children's literature, where reading becomes not just a hobby, but a key to a rich imagination and good education.
