Hildesheimer Wallungen: A day full of culture and fun on Saturday!

The anticipation is great: The Hildesheimer Wallungen, a cultural highlight, begins today at Hohnsensee. The start is celebrated today with rousing salsa sounds and the play “Moby Dick”. The entire program on Saturday, July 5th promises a variety of entertainment and creative workshops waiting for visitors in the various venues!

The flushes, which take place every two years, shine this year from July 4th to 6th and offer an extensive program for all ages. Over 60 music groups, solo artists, choirs and big bands will perform on the stages around the Kehrwiederwall, Graben, the Godehardsgarten, the Basilica of St. Godehard, Ehrlicherpark and Jo-Beach. The gates will open for the first activities at 2 p.m., with the official program starting at 4 p.m. This is reported by the Hildesheimer Allgemeine under [this link](https://www.hildesheimer- Allgemeine.de/melde/programm-bis-tief-in-die-nacht-das-bietet-der-samstag-bei-den-hildesheimer-wallungen.html).

A diverse cultural offering

Visitors can look forward to a varied experience: music, dance, theater and literature are on the agenda. There are also creative offers such as screen printing and mask making in the fiber factory as well as offers especially for children, who also get their money's worth with plays. And for the adults, the experience is rounded off with culinary delicacies such as freshly baked waffles. According to the official Wallungen website, which compiles further details, entry to the RPM and Cathedral Museum is also free for ticket holders.

A special attraction will be the day-night gallery, which presents not only local artists but also national and international talent. The atmosphere is further enhanced by the cheerful activities and creative mood. The well-known singer Joy Bogat will also delight the audience with her music. The performances are part of the large-scale program, which is available via a new app in the browser, so that visitors can easily find out about the various offers.
