In the Lüneburg 4 district league, August 17, 2025 was a day full of surprises and exciting twists. While the fans cheered in the stands, there were many goals and some unexpected results that marked the match day. Fupa reports on the most exciting encounters.
A remarkable game took place between Deinste and Ahlerstedt/Ottendorf II. Although Deinste led 2-0 at half-time, the guests turned the game around and turned it into a 4-2 win. The goals came in quick succession: Umland scored 1-0 in the 2nd minute, followed by Stroh, who increased the score to 2-0 in the 50th minute. But then the piston change began: Griemsmann scored twice for Ahlerstedt/Ottendorf II (52nd and 63rd minute) and brought his team back into the game. Mergard finally made the decision with his goals in the 77th and 85th minutes.
Exciting duels and clear victories
VSV Stinstedt also had a successful match day: they defeated Lilienthal 4-1. After Sonnabend scored the first goal for Stinstedt in the 39th minute, Lilienthal was able to equalize in the 50th minute before Hüttmann and Arlt turned the tide back in Stinstedt's favor.
Another captivating duel was between Apensen and a stubborn opponent. Although Jaschke equalized in the 49th minute, Apensen was able to take the lead again in the 69th minute through Tillmann and secure the win.
Disappointment, however, spread at TuS Harsefeld II. After a promising start, they lost their game against Buck by conceding a late goal. In an emotional game, Harsefeld took the lead through Sloma after just 5 minutes, but Schmidt equalized just 14 minutes later before the match changed dramatically as time went on.
