New class of industrial electricians celebrates graduation in Seevetal!

Yesterday's celebration on the occasion of the successful completion of training as an industrial electrician at Tief- und Rohrleitungsbau Wilhelm Wahl GmbH & Co. KG and Kuhlmannleitungsbau GmbH & Co. KG in Seevetal was a complete success. Nine trainees were proud to receive their diplomas and beamed with joy at the results they had achieved.

Not only the graduates themselves were present at this festive event, but also numerous relatives and representatives of the organizations involved, who duly honored the achievements of the young specialists. The positive result: the overall average grade was an excellent 1.88. Tom Elfers particularly stood out as the best in the exam with a sensational 97%, followed by Sebastian Rink with 95% and Erik Walter with 94%.

The training in detail

The training to become an industrial electrician lasts two years and includes various modules that prepare future specialists comprehensively for their everyday work. You learn to analyze and test electrical systems, install systems and adapt controls, as described by bildung.de. Important knowledge of mathematics and computer science is required, although a secondary school diploma is often sufficient.

An exciting field of work awaits the new industrial electricians in a variety of industries, from the metal and electrical industries to plant engineering and the automotive industry. According to the training content, tasks such as carrying out safety checks or maintaining facilities and systems are of central importance. Quality control and documentation are also part of the daily challenges in professional life, alternating with the analysis and commissioning of devices and systems.

Future prospects

The career prospects for the newly qualified industrial electricians are promising. There are already open training positions for the coming training year 2025/2026 and, last but not least, the earning potential is also above average. The training allowance is between 980 and 1,150 euros gross in the first year and between 1,000 and 1,200 euros gross in the second year. After training, graduates can expect a starting salary of 1,500 to 2,000 euros gross, depending on the company and region, as STRABAG explains.

Anyone who has already gained a few years of experience can look forward to a monthly salary of between 3,100 and 3,300 euros. There are also a wide range of further training opportunities, such as becoming a certified industrial master in electrical engineering or a technical business economist, so that your career can continue to blossom.

The trainers Torsten Rieckmann and Michael Fredrich were satisfied with the trainees' performance and emphasized the high-quality training of the voters and Kuhlmann groups. The successful event ended with a convivial snack, which provided the framework for stimulating conversations and exchange between the guests - a nice end to an intensive learning time.
