Art full of perspectives: New exhibition opens in Salzgitter!

Something is happening in Salzgitter! On Sunday, November 16th, at 11 a.m., the new annual exhibition will take place Salzgitter Group opened in the Municipal Art Collections Schloss Salder. Under the title “Views”, the exhibition presents a total of 64 works that deal with a wide range of topics and artistic perspectives. Admission is free, so everyone has the opportunity to take a look at the region's creative expressions.

The introduction will be given by art historian Pia Kranz, who will provide interesting insights into the works on display. Anyone who would like to get to know the artists behind the works has the chance to do so, as they will be present at both the opening and the finissage on December 7th from 3 p.m.

Discover artistic diversity

The works on display come from various areas of visual art, including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture and installation. With a biographical reference to the city of Salzgitter, the exhibition reflects the different perceptions and ways of looking at the world. Themes such as landscapes, everyday objects and memories run through the works, while chance and calculation also play a role.

The participating artists are: Gerd Druwe, Michael Ewen, Gunther Fritz, Susanne Hesch, Harald Illmann, Peter Kuhl, Heide Lühr-Hassels, Wolfgang Spittler, Hans-Jürgen Trams, Ursula Trams and Reinhard Wessolek. The organizers are also pleased about the contributions from the guest artists Uschi Korowski and Melanie Schöckel, who bring a breath of fresh air to the exhibition.
