Literature festival in Salzgitter: classics and new voices are waiting for you!
In just a few weeks, Salzgitter-Bad will be transformed into a true mecca for literature enthusiasts! The literature festival will take place from September 13th to 21st, 2025, and it promises to be an unforgettable experience for everyone. This event will be held in the historic Kniestedt Church, a perfect setting to meet with authors, literary classics and like-minded reading friends. Regional today reports that the opening event begins on September 13th at 8 p.m. with Denis Scheck and actor Dietmar Bär, who will talk about British crime classics from the 20s to 60s. A varied program that is really worth seeing!
A highlight will certainly be the reading by Arno Frank, who will read from his critical novel “Ginsterburg”, which deals with the dark time after Hitler came to power, on September 19th at 7:30 p.m. If you're more into personal stories, you shouldn't miss Daniela Dröscher's presentation on September 20th at 7 p.m. She presents her novel “Young Woman with a Cat,” which impressively deals with the relationship between the main character Ela and her mother.
Cultural diversity until the end
And as if that wasn't enough, visitors can expect a special performance on the last day of the festival, September 21st at 6 p.m.: The Münster ensemble “Theater ex libris” will present a live radio play of Mary Shelley's “Frankenstein”. This unique experience, aimed at viewers aged 16 and over, is enriched by live music and image projections - a real treat for the senses!
Ticket reservations are already possible at the Salzgitter City Literature Office and are also available in local bookstores. If you plan cleverly, you will secure the best seats in good time!
There are new developments not only in literature, a lot is also happening in the digital sector. For example, with Windows 11, Microsoft introduced exciting clipboard synchronization capabilities that allow users to seamlessly share their content across devices. In contrast, synchronization between Windows 11 and iPhones unfortunately remains undeveloped. However, users can enable their Clipboard History to save multiple entries - a handy tool that increases workplace efficiency. Digital Citizen provides detailed instructions on how to make the most of these features.
The connection between literature and digital innovation shows how interconnected our cultures are. If you want to let your thoughts wander in the fresh air and in good company, you definitely shouldn't miss the literature festival in Salzgitter. And for those who want to master their everyday lives with a bit of humor and lightness: Facebook is currently providing information about the use of cookies, which are intended to improve the user experience and make it safer.
