The countdown for the 16th AZ Press Cup is on! On December 2, 2025, the groups for the highly anticipated tournament were drawn. The defending champion, MTV Römstedt, will play against SV Rosche in the opening game on January 3, 2026 at 12 p.m. The event is organized by the Allgemeine Zeitung and SV Germania Ripdorf, which have been responsible for many great football moments in the Uelzen area since 2008.
Attention, here is the preliminary round classification: In Group A, the district league teams MTV Römstedt and SV Rosche meet the district league team VfL Suderburg and the 1st district league team Sperber Veerßen.
