On July 3, 2025, the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Community invites you to an exciting event in the Uelzen town hall, which will focus on a topic that has a crucial impact on our everyday lives and the environment: energy-saving contracting for the energy-efficient modernization of public buildings. Steps such as analyzing current electricity and heat consumption or setting target values are essential. With joint efforts, it will be possible to make a significant contribution to climate neutrality on a large scale and to meet the legal requirements as set out in the Building Energy Act.
A clear advantage of energy saving contracting is that it offers building owners a long-term guarantee on the amount of energy savings. This not only relieves the burden of organizational implementation of the measures, but also helps to transfer economic and technical risks to the contractor.
