An exciting event is coming: On Tuesday, September 2nd, Dr. Marlies Reinke was officially introduced into office as the first female president of the Rotary Club of Cuxhaven in the Kugelbake Hall. This takes place as part of a benefit concert by the Wilhelmshaven Marine Music Corps, which begins at 7:30 p.m. CNV Media reports that frigate captain Matthias Prock will act as conductor and will warmly welcome the guests.
Advance sales for concert tickets are already going well. The first two tickets were symbolically handed over to Mayor Uwe Santjer, who praised the club's commitment as particularly exemplary for networking in Cuxhaven. A heart for social projects
All proceeds from the concert go to social projects, which primarily benefit youth development and education. The Rotary Club of Cuxhaven recently supported families in purchasing initial equipment for those starting school and is now accepting funding applications for further projects.
