Rotary Cuxhaven: First President and benefit concert on September 2nd!
An exciting event is coming: On Tuesday, September 2nd, Dr. Marlies Reinke was officially introduced into office as the first female president of the Rotary Club of Cuxhaven in the Kugelbake Hall. This takes place as part of a benefit concert by the Wilhelmshaven Marine Music Corps, which begins at 7:30 p.m. CNV Media reports that frigate captain Matthias Prock will act as conductor and will warmly welcome the guests.
Advance sales for concert tickets are already going well. The first two tickets were symbolically handed over to Mayor Uwe Santjer, who praised the club's commitment as particularly exemplary for networking in Cuxhaven. Tickets are available online for 15 euros via Eventim and at the Cuxhaven event center. If you drop by spontaneously, you can also get remaining tickets at the box office.
A heart for social projects
All proceeds from the concert go to social projects, which primarily benefit youth development and education. The Rotary Club of Cuxhaven recently supported families in purchasing initial equipment for those starting school and is now accepting funding applications for further projects. Especially in times of upheaval in society, supporting youth placement is of great importance.
With a total of 50 members, including only six women, the Rotary Club of Cuxhaven is an active network that shows a lot of commitment. In addition to the organization and implementation of the concert, the club's shared values are based on the cultivation of friendship, high ethical principles and responsible interaction with one another. Musical highlights guaranteed
The Marine Music Corps Wilhelmshaven has made a name for itself through its broad repertoire: In addition to marching music, the ensemble offers a diverse musical program. This guarantees an entertaining evening for all music lovers in Cuxhaven. There will also be a small raffle during the concert, where you can win two tickets three times.
Joint commitment and an open ear for the concerns of the community are the great strengths that characterize the Rotary clubs in Germany with their over 800 clubs. Driving this forward in Cuxhaven and enriching the social network is Dr. Marlies Reinke and her team to take office. Support this valuable commitment to youth and the future of the community!
