Jonas Reinberg: New area manager for Codex in Schleswig-Holstein!

Good news from the construction industry: Jonas Reinberg has strengthened the Codex sales team in northern Germany as the new area manager in Schleswig-Holstein. The trained master tiler, who has been working under the leadership of Andreas Knöchlein since September, succeeds Diego Gomez. With his practical craftsmanship and professional consulting expertise, Reinberg brings a breath of fresh air to the team, which can now continue to take care of the needs of tilers and specialist dealers. Among other things, he will be responsible for project support, new customer acquisition, strategic market development and product presentations. Product training and the presentation of new product solutions are also on his agenda, as Baustoffmarkt Online reports.

The codex team in Northern Germany is not only strengthened by Reinberg, but has also had another dedicated employee on board since February 2023, Steffen Edler. Edler, a state-approved floor layer, has taken on responsibility for the Hamburg and surrounding area sales area together with Tayfun Acci. Previously, he was area manager for tiling products at a large construction chemicals manufacturer. In his new role, Edler focuses on customer support and acquiring new customers in order to develop tailor-made construction site solutions. The aim is to further expand the brand's product range in the Hamburg area, as Codex reports.

Digital transformation and challenges

A lot is happening in the construction industry, especially with regard to digital transformation. A current event with a panel discussion about the successful use of AI in the industry shows the great interest in these topics. The Bavarian Construction Industry Association has also started the podcast “The Future of the Construction Industry”, the fourth season of which is now in full swing. Important aspects such as AI in construction and the shortage of skilled workers are highlighted here, as can be found on Strategy Center for Construction.

Another exciting aspect is the newly published anthology “IMPULS: The Future of the Construction Industry 01”, which deals with digital transformation and sustainable practices. Topics such as digital delivery notes and integrated KPI systems help companies link their strategies with ESG reporting. The construction industry is currently facing not only opportunities but also challenges, with demographic change and the increasing average age of employees requiring particular attention.

So it remains exciting to see how the industry will continue to develop and what impulses the new team members at Codex can provide in order to be able to meet the challenges of the future.
