Lübeck celebrates diversity: Super art festival from June 13th to 15th, 2025!

Things will be really exciting in Lübeck next week. The Vorwerker Diakonie will take place in the Bürgerpark from June 13th to 15th, 2025 Super Arts Festival takes place – and this is no ordinary event! With over 80 shows on six stages, this festival offers Germany's largest inclusive cultural event that brings people with and without disabilities together. The motto of the event is “Music against racism”, which emphasizes openness and cohesion.

This special festival is designed by a colorful group of national and international artists. This includes not only music performances, but also theater, film, circus and a variety of art forms. The joint planning and implementation by people with and without disabilities shows how important inclusion and diversity are in the cultural scene. This is also shown by the contribution of many cultural institutions from all over Germany that support and enrich the festival.

A festival for everyone

Cultural participation is the focus of the super art festival. Thanks to a special ticket policy, even people with financial constraints have the opportunity to take part in the festival. While some ticket prices have to be adjusted according to inflation, there is still a ticket contingent that is available in cooperation with the Kulturtafel Lübeck. This ensures that culture remains accessible to everyone.

Another plus point: the festival ticket also functions as a bus ticket, which makes traveling to this special event much easier. In collaboration with Stadtwerke Lübeck, this enables environmentally friendly transport and fits in well with the festival's sustainable approach, which uses CO2-neutral energy resources. This mindfulness towards the environment and fellow human beings is also evident in the workshops and offers that take place during the festival.

But it's not just the stages that have it all! Gastronomy is also not neglected: Lübeck's clubs and pubs provide catering and thus ensure a wide range of culinary delights. Away from the show stages, Lübeck's lively club and pub scene is waiting to be discovered, so there is something for all visitors.

The festival not only makes a cultural contribution, but also actively advocates for a world without war, repression and fascism. Over 100 refugees currently live on the Diakonie Nord Nord Ost campus and remind us all of the senselessness of conflict. The super art festival is intended to be a place of welcoming culture for all people and is a strong symbol of tolerance and solidarity.
