What an exciting duel in ice hockey! On October 30, 2025, the Iserlohn Roosters lost 2-1 to the Fischtown Pinguins in Bremerhaven. The match was characterized by a balanced game from the start, but the Roosters' effectiveness in the end left a lot to be desired.
There was rarely a crash on the ice in the first third. Despite one or two chances, such as Thomas' first shot, there was a lack of penetration. The last third didn't start very well for the Iserlohn team. The Penguins set the tone at the start, while the Roosters struggled to provide offensive impetus. A strong save by Hane prevented the score from 0:3, but the Iserlohn team had not yet used their powder at this point. In the 55th minute, Napravnik made it 1-2, but the Roosters couldn't find the opportunities they needed to equalize, even during a 4-minute double majority.
