Family doctors rock Bremen: scavenger hunt as a team adventure!
Things are currently quite colorful in the lively Hanseatic city of Bremen! Barbara Flöer, a dedicated family doctor, and her team have chosen a very special challenge - a creative hands-on event that focuses on the city and its green oases. During their lunch break, they leave their everyday worries behind and pose as a rock band, which shows that the joy of work and team building come first. This exciting campaign is part of the “Scavenger Hunt Bremen” scavenger hunt, which is taking place for the first time this year. Weser Kurier reports that the scavenger hunt was organized as part of the “Natural” theme year and runs from June 20th to July 6th, 2025.
Flöer and her colleagues are taking part in the current competition under the name “#last visit”. Over 400 teams are now at the start, and the family doctor team proudly takes third place. The scavenger hunt includes around 150 tasks, offering everything from simple challenges to tricky puzzles, such as depicting the Weser Stadium in pocket size. Solutions must be uploaded via an app, with points being awarded based on the complexity of the tasks. According to WFB Bremen, the event aims to discover Germany's greenest city from a new perspective. In Bremen there is an average of 60 m² of sports, leisure and recreation space available per person, ideal for tackling tasks in the city.
Exciting challenges and local discoveries
The scavenger hunt tasks tested are not only creative, they also promote team spirit and getting to know the city. The team faces seven more challenges in a single day, including giving a speech as a costumed captain and playing with a beach ball. Flöer emphasizes that these campaigns do not focus on the main prize, a balloon ride, but rather on the team experience and laughing together. A few weeks ago it would not have been possible for the team to take part due to the high workload. Now, despite the summer hectic in their practice at Karl-Marx-Straße 70a, they have taken on this adventure.
The event includes much more than just puzzles - it also opens up the opportunity to discover local attractions such as the Horner Linde and the majestic giant sequoia in Riensberg. Stadtrallye.de describes that the scavenger hunt takes participants through the history, citizens and culture of Bremen. Equipped with a city map, the teams set out to find out more about the regional culinary specialties and local personalities. Each participant actively contributes to the success of the team - the team spirit is strengthened through creative solutions and joint discussions.
With a lot of enthusiasm and creativity
The scavenger hunt is not only fun, but also gives everyone new ideas about how to experience the city in different ways. So if you're looking for a combination of fun, challenge and teamwork, you should definitely take part in the next scavenger hunt in Bremen. The women of the “#last visit” team impressively show how you can master life’s small and large challenges with creativity and a lot of passion.
