A hot weekend is coming up in Lower Saxony and Bremen, which could appeal to both sun worshipers and thunderstorm fans. Friday brings mid-summer temperatures between 26 and 29 degrees, although it remains a little cooler on the coasts. The German Weather Service (DWD) is forecasting clear and dry weather across Germany, with strong winds blowing from southern directions. The forecast for Saturday is complex: While the sun will shine in the morning, it will become increasingly cloudy in the afternoon.
