Teddy is looking for a new home: Dog's heart urgently needs love!
There is currently a special dog hero at the Altentreptow animal shelter who is waiting for a new home. The 11-year-old Pomeranian named Teddy was recently given away after his owner passed away. The lady's daughter faced problems in her family, especially with small children, so she took Teddy to the shelter. Details of the challenges were not given, but at the animal shelter Teddy is a peaceful companion and gets along well with children aged around ten years. Reported on the details Northern Courier.
Teddy is a lively personality who is cheerful in the animal shelter and likes to run. During his stay, his hunting instinct was also tested, which so far seems to be barely developed since he was never used for hunting. He can quickly get used to his new friends. What is particularly noteworthy is that Teddy accepts cats, but does not get along ideally with other male dogs. An initial test with a female dog was promising and his behavior towards other dogs will continue to be monitored. Interested families can visit Teddy at the animal shelter and see for themselves his charm. If you would like to give it a new home, you can call 03961 229 946 or 0152 531 052 12 or send an email to [email protected] write.
Common goal: improving conditions for animals
Teddy isn't the only one eagerly waiting for a new home. The Altentreptow animal shelter also has big plans to improve conditions for other animals, especially kittens. Horses currently live in the barn that the animal shelter wants to lease. A renovation and redesign are planned in order to offer the small kittens a species-appropriate home. Altentreptow animal shelter explains that a large, tiled room with two windows is intended to set up two separate areas for the kittens. These should be separated from each other by grids so that the little furry friends have more space and light.
The organization needs a total of 8,000 euros to build the gates and is asking for donations to enable the kittens to be kept in a species-appropriate manner. At the moment the animals have to stay in small boxes, which is not the ideal situation. The animal shelter has made it its mission to improve these conditions and create a friendly environment for all animals.
The call for support and commitment to the welfare of animals is important to the animal shelter and its employees. Every bit of help counts, be it through donations or the adoption of animals like Teddy, who is so desperate for a loving home.
