But despite the fantastic atmosphere, the Bulls had to admit defeat to the Hannover Indians 1:3. The first face-off occurred at 5:37 p.m. when Daniel Mischner received the puck from Bruno Riedl.
The game started with high intensity, with both teams immediately going on the offensive. The Bulls had the chance to gain the advantage for the first time in the third minute, but Robin Palka was unable to convert the shot at visiting goalkeeper Timo Herden. Daniel Allavena kept the Bulls' goal clean until the first break, but the second half of the game was to be different.
Game dynamics and decisive goals
The Indians got into the game better in the second third. In the 26th minute, Émil Lessard Aydin made it 0-1 for Hannover, followed by a power play goal from Ryker Killins in the 30th minute, which increased the score to 0-2. The next duel: Full house in Memmingen
Fans can also look forward to the next game in which the Saale Bulls will play against ECDC Memmingen on Friday evening. Over 3,000 spectators are expected at Hühnerberg, while around 2,000 tickets have already been sold. The last meeting also ended in a 1:3 defeat for Halle. Another win for the Indians would equalize the series.
However, the Bulls have some challenges to overcome. Donat Peter is the only sick player to return, while the return of other players remains unclear. Maxi Menner had to slow down because of a stick check in the neck area, and proceedings against the person responsible are ongoing at the DEB control committee.Fans should book in advance to avoid long lines at the box office as seats are likely to sell out on game day. The stadium opens one hour before the game starts and the game will be broadcast live on SpradeTV.
This first home game defeat for the Bulls gives food for thought, but the team will certainly go into the next game motivated to turn things around. We are excited to see how they will perform in the upcoming duel!
