Hakim-Michael Meziani leaves Rote Rosen”: New adventures await!

A significant change has taken place in the world of afternoon entertainment: Hakim-Michael Meziani is leaving the successful ARD telenovela “Rote Rosen” after more than 13 years. The series, which has captured viewers' hearts for almost two decades and is known for its mix of drama, love and surprising twists, is losing a central character in Meziani. His final appearance will air on Friday June 18th before he moves on to new challenges. This change follows more than 3,000 episodes in which Meziani acted as Ben Berger and captivated audiences.

Emotions surrounding Meziani's exit are running high. He describes the farewell as a bittersweet experience, but above all emphasizes the positive income from his time on set. “The people here have enriched me,” said the actor, who describes his role in the popular series as “winning the lottery.” While many may be wondering what will happen next, he can look to the future with optimism.

A new phase of life

Hakim already has concrete plans after his departure from “Rote Rosen”. In addition to his acting career, which he began in 1997 with appearances in "Forbidden Love" and which led him, among other things, to roles in "Marienhof", he has built up a second mainstay parallel to his series career: the distillation of rum. Together with his friend Harry Geiseler, he founded the rum brand "Alder Rum" and plans to devote himself more to this passion from now on. “I really enjoy working with rum and see it as an exciting challenge,” explains the native Algerian.

His wife supports him in this new phase of his life. It seems to be particularly pleasant for her that she is no longer asked about his scenes in the supermarket - an experience that many actors' partners actually have. “There’s something going on,” you could say, because by leaving the “hamster wheel” of the telenovela, he is now pursuing his true passion.

Future prospects

The path has been paved, and perhaps we will see Hakim-Michael Meziani on television again soon. There is already speculation about a possible TV reunion, and fans will be excited to see what projects he will tackle. The combination of passion for rum production and the opportunity to return to TV could lead to an exciting new chapter for Meziani.

The Rote Rosen fan base will no doubt experience a great loss, but Hakim-Michael Meziani's journey is far from over. All his fans can do is wish him all the best for the challenges ahead.
