Peine, Deutschland - The Sparkasse Hildesheim Goslar Peine has announced a new doubling campaign that begins on August 19, 2025. As part of this campaign, each private donation will be doubled up to 100 euros. This means that if someone donates 100 euros, for example, the non -profit association receives a total of 200 euros. This is already the 15th action of this kind and once again shows the commitment of the Sparkasse for the region. The action period runs until the budget of 20,000 euros is used up, which shows the hurry with which many clubs will fight for support. In 2024, private donations were able to mobilize more than 130,000 euros in addition to the Sparkasse's commitment, which underlines the high interest and active participation of the citizens. Association representatives have the opportunity to set their project through the platform and thus receive direct support from the population. There are no costs for the clubs, which makes this action particularly attractive.

A current example of the commitment of the Sparkasse is the renovation of the ball water tower in Groß Ilsede, a striking landmark in the Peine district. This listed building is currently being repaired for around 1.5 million euros, with around 1.1 million euros come from various funding, including funds from Sparkasse Hildesheim Goslar Peine. Dr. Arne Butt from the Lower Saxony Sparkassenstiftung and other representatives of the Sparkasse have informed themselves personally about the progress of the renovation work.
