On November 15, 2025, Bremen will become a dance stronghold when the German championships in formation dance take place. Ten teams have qualified this year to compete for the prestigious titles in standard and late information. Viewers can look forward to a high-class event, which will be broadcast live as part of “Sportclub live” on Radio Bremen, with the committed moderation of Janna Schierenbeck, commentary by Yannick Lowin and supported by expert Thomas Postera.
But the highlight will be the World Championship-nominated Green-Gold Club Bremen, which is entering the race as the defending champion in the Latin information sector. They have already qualified with a new choreography and are now doing everything they can to secure second place for the World Championships next December. Their main competitors in this competition are the teams Blau-Weiss Buchholz, TSC Walsrode, TSG Bremerhaven and three other northern German teams that have prepared no less well.
The competition in two disciplines
In the standard formation category, the best teams also face each other in an exciting duel. The Braunschweiger Tanz-Sport-Club and the 1. TC Ludwigsburg, which holds the title of world champion of 2024, are expected to provide hot competition. Both teams have prepared intensively for this event over the last few months in order to demonstrate their technical skills and stylistic ability.
The Sectio is also active on social media, so viewers have the opportunity to follow the intermediate rounds from 7.30 p.m. and the grand finale from 10.30 p.m. in the live stream on www.butenunbinnen.de and in the ARD media library. The expected exciting performances will captivate the audience and certainly cause many a murmur of enthusiasm.
A diverse challenge
The competition is not just a big challenge for the dancers. The trainers and choreographers also do a great job to fully exploit the potential of their dancers. The verb “dance” itself describes not only the art of movement, but also the commitment that the participants put into their performances. As already mentioned, dancing is about passionate movement - and that is exactly what will be the focus on November 15, 2025. The clay field at the German Championships will be a real feast for the senses for both the dancers and the spectators.
The decision as to which formations will grab the title will certainly be exciting and uncertain. Will the defending champions be able to delight the crowd again or will a new team bring home the title? One thing is certain: on this day, dance fever will reign in Bremen and hardly anyone will be able to escape the rousing rhythm.
